DELIVERY

GICLÉE PRINTS: We aim to post gicleé prints within 3 days of receiving payment but UK customers should allow up to 7 days for items to arrive. If an item becomes out of stock and needs to be reprinted, we will contact you to let you know there will be a delay.

FABRIC ART: All Fabric Art pieces are made to order and can take up to two weeks to create and ship depending on delivery location.

Orders to destinations outside the UK will take longer.

When your order is shipped, you will receive an email with confirmation of shipping along with a tracking number.

Shipping costs are calculated at the checkout page. We use a variety of couriers and postal services to best suit the items ordered so shipping costs vary depending on the size of items and delivery destination. For example, for giclée prints (delivered in cardboard postal tubes) sent within the UK, we use Royal Mail, whereas for Fabric Art shipped overseas, we use UPS or Parcelforce depending on the destination country and size of art commissioned. We select the most suitable delivery service to protect the work in transit and to achieve the lowest shipping price.

All items require a signature on delivery. We cannot ship to PO Boxes, only a physical home or work address where someone can sign to take delivery of the order. If you are not able to take delivery for any reason and the item is returned to us, we will be happy to resend once we have received payment for the second-attempt shipping charges, otherwise we will refund the item minus the first-attempt shipping and any additional shipping costs that may be charged to us to return the item.

Items may take longer to despatch as we may need to make further checks in relation to a payment to ensure the cardholder has ordered the item/s. Orders to a UK delivery address that is different to the UK billing address will take longer to ship whilst we make enquiries with the cardholder.

We reserve the right to only ship to the billing address for all international orders. International orders with different billing and shipping addresses will take longer to process as we will need to make enquiries with the cardholder to verify the order. If we are unable to verify the cardholder wishes to ship to an international address different to the billing address, or we deem the card payment to be high-risk, we will contact you to let you know and offer you the opportunity to make payment via an alternative method.

If you are ordering items for delivery outside of the UK, items may be liable for local import duties and taxes which must be paid by the receiver.

CANCELLATION

If you have placed an order but wish to cancel it before it is shipped, contact us asap. If items have already been shipped, follow the Returns procedure laid out below. Mappliqué reserves the right to not accept an order placed at the website in which case payment will be refunded and the order cancelled.

RETURNS

We want to make sure you love your Mappliqué items so if for any reason you want to return your delivery of a giclée print, get in touch via the Contact page to let us know and we’ll email details of how to do so and which address to return items to. Items must be returned in their original condition with no signs of use or wear-&-tear and in their original unopened packaging. Contact us within 14 working days of taking delivery of your order if you want to return your item or exchange it.

If you have placed an order but wish to cancel it before it is shipped out, let us know asap. Make sure to return your item in such a way that it can be tracked as we cannot be held responsible for, or issue a refund or exchange, for items that do not make it back to us. We do not pay for the shipping or postage to return items, unless we have wrongly shipped an incorrect item that you did not order in which case we will pay up to the value of second class recorded mail only.

We will aim to process your refund or exchange as soon as possible once items have been returned in their original packaging and condition but please allow up to two weeks. We are unable to offer a refund or exchange if the item returned has been damaged so make sure to properly pack the return item to protect it in transit. Please make sure that the item is not damaged, creased, ripped, or smells of smoke, perfume, cooking or food aromas, etc, and is in a condition that we deem resaleable. Occasionally we may offer free items with your order. If you are returning your item for a refund, free items must also be returned at the same time.

CHRISTMAS GIFTS:
Any unwanted gifts bought in December 2013 for a friend or family member can be returned for a refund provided you let us know by email by the 1st January 2014 and the items are returned in resaleable condition in their original packaging by the 7th January 2014.

FABRIC ART:
All Fabric Art pieces are made-to-order and personalised with the fabric choice on the order page so can not be returned. As Fabric Art pieces are non-returnable, make sure to select preferred fabric choices carefully when ordering.
